If you can safely isolate your macerator (remove the fuse or turn it off) you should do so, and call a engineer, there is a good chance your macerator can be fixed easily and at a low cost, if you wait too long and leave the macerator humming, you take the chance of burning out the motor on your macerator, and then the repair bill would become much higher |

Check your toilet overflow as not been activated, also check all other taps, overflows and waste pipes leading to the macerator are off and working correct and then check if this as correct the problem, if not you will need to call a engineer. |
